DJ Party

‘Youth Zone’ is a club established by the Alcohol and Drug Information Center (ADIC) to create an environment where young people can enjoy and have fun while participating in alcohol and tobacco prevention activities. Recognizing that some young individuals are still drawn to outdated activities such as smoking and drinking alcohol due to misleading promotions from alcohol and tobacco industries, ‘Youth Zone’ organizes an annual after O/L DJ party.

On January 26, 2014, the ‘Youth Zone’ club successfully hosted the after O/L DJ party for the third consecutive year at the Aesthetic Centre Colombo, starting from 2 p.m. The event attracted around 200 participants who enjoyed a day of unlimited fun. The main goal of the DJ party was to convey the message of having real fun without alcohol.

The event was further enlivened by the presence of celebrities like Solangi (Miss Sri Lanka 2013), adding a touch of glamour. Attendees enjoyed various activities, including Balloon Dance, DJ King and Queen, Best Dancer, and Couple Dance. Additionally, over 50 new members joined the club that day.
