Chase the Snitch

The Chase the Snitch 2016 was a project designed by the Youth Zone team to set a new trend in deglamorizing alcohol. The event included games, fun activities, music, dancing, and partying. It aimed to show the youth that they can have unlimited fun while enjoying the event and the after-party without alcohol. The event also sought to make the youth understand the hidden promotions and agendas of the alcohol industry as conveyed through manipulative media promotions.

Held at Mt. Lavinia Beach (next to Montage Seafood Restaurant) on September 10, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. onwards, the event carried the theme “I’m a cool player, not a lousy drinker.” It was open to young people between the ages of 16 and 21.

Several games and fun activities have been arranged to escalate youth’s cooperation in the event such as:

The winners were awarded with cash prizes, gift vouchers and gift hampers.
